tired and sick, sick and tired

What's this fun picture, you ask? Its a picture I snapped with my Treo this morning at 8:40 a.m.

But, Gina, you say, that looks like a business office elevator. You also say, at 8:40 a.m., in a business elevator, shouldn't your arrow be pointing up, on your way TO work?

I say to you, I say, No. Not in my world this morning. I was in the SanJo yesterday (12 hours and a two hour commute by car, this time) and had my work laptop with me. When I arrived at work this morning, I was elated that I was so early!

Fat lot of good it did me... As I realized that I had left my laptop AT HOME.

So I say to you, I say, Hey.... that down arrow at 8:40 a.m. is me going BACK home (30 mins) to get my laptop and then commute back to work again (another 3o mins).

Trust me when I tell you, if I could have, I would have just stayed at home and called in sick.

I'm hurt. Somebody call the WAH-mbulance.
